Special Message from Vince DeLuca

I would like to ask everyone to take the time to read the following message. The message deals with the current legislation moving through congress which passed the senate on Friday, July 11 and is now in the House of Representatives. The message gives instructions on how to contact your congressman and let them know how important quick action on this Housing bill is needed, it also ask that you request an extension to the First Time Homeowner tax credit expiration date to capture the 2009 peak selling season, the current bill has the tax credit expiring in April 2009 before the Spring/Summer selling season is complete.

I know everyone knows how badly the housing market has been hurt with the sub prime mortgage crisis, the overall credit crisis, the foreclosure mess and falling home values. Impress upon your representative that this legislation helps provide support to home prices, will help absorb some of the excess home supply currently on the market, provide opportunity for home ownership to first time home buyers and put many people back to work in the homebuilding, real estate and construction industries.
